If you are 17 years old or older and have a desire to enhance your boating knowledge, your on-the-water skills, and/or assist the United States Coast Guard in an organized and professional manner, and also have fun, you should consider joining Flotilla 44 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary!

USCGAUX logoThe United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 44 meets every first Tuesday of the month at the Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust, Lewis Road and Church Street, Royersford, PA. (view map)   The meeting begins 7:30 p.m. in the social room.

Safe Boating Classes

buoy logoSafe Boating Classes - Safe boating classes are taught by experienced and knowledgeable U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors that are committed to the high standards set by the U. S. Coast Guard. Flotilla 44 conducts these classes at Owen J. Roberts School, as well as other local locations.

Courtesy Vessel Examinations

A Vessel Safety Check is a courtesy examination of your boat (Vessel) to verify the presence and condition of certain Safety Equipment required by State and Federal regulations. The Vessel Examiner is a trained specialist and is a member the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary who will make certain recommendations and discuss certain safety issues that will make you a safer boater.
