Flotilla 44 on the road for boating safety - On June 7, 2008, a contingent of Flotilla 44 vessel examiners headed south to Northeast, Maryland.  The day was sunny and extremely hot as it was during the first heat wave of 2008.  Even though the weather was oppressive, it didn't diminish the enthusiasm of the Crew.  We had an extremely successful day doing free vessel safety checks at McDaniels Marina.
The Flotilla 44 vessel examiners headed south again, back to Northeast, Maryland to Jackson Marina on June 21, 2008.  The day was a beautiful sunny day, hot but not nearly as oppressive as it was on the 7th.  Again, with enthusiasm and boaters actually waiting for us in line at the Cafe, where we set up our station, we all headed out and had a tremendously successful day doing free vessel safety checks.
